✺ Frequently asked questions ✺
-
Not at all. It’s a simple 4-step process of smoothing down the surface using an iron, abrasives and buffing.
-
Absolutely. This process is designed to preserve texture in certain areas of the painting while also creating a smooth surface.
-
Depending on how textured your surface, the abrasives kit can last from an 18x18 to 24x36 inch surface.
-
Not at all. The abrasives and medium together cost $30. The prices on the irons does fluctuate, but usually not more than $30 for either of them.
-
You do not have to purchase your abrasives or medium from my store. The abrasives are available from other online stores, but you’ll have to purchase each in bulk. Although my medium is easier to buff, you can use any good quality medium instead.
